How could I not Love my Job?

I get to meet the cutest kids & talk with the most awesome people!

Rained off and on all day but cleared up just in time for us to take a walk along the water. Sha-nya was so full of smiles and didn't complain once! Tina-Lee was so fun her spunk so entertaining! Loved it! Thanks guys for the wonderful evening and showing me around the park.

Tuesdays Tip | The rule of thirds

The rule of thirds is very effective when learning to get pictures with a nice composition.
When using the rule of thirds place the most important part of your picture in one of the points where the two lines intersect. Never place your subject in the middle of the frame. This makes for a very lifeless photo. Although rules are made to be broken It's important to learn and understand them first.

This picture kind of cracked me up! Check out the boy 2nd from far left. He's holding this baby like he has a job to do! I wounder what he was thinking! "Sandra could you get this over with ! my arms are going to fall any minute now!"

Here's my Tip this Tuesday

Get down on there level:

I think this is the biggest mistake when taking pictures of kids. We take the camera and shoot from way above the child. Try getting down on there level and you will see a big difference in the pictures you get. get down on your knees. With baby's you may even have to roll on the floor with them! I guarantee you will be happy with many more pictures if you do this.

Today is Tuesday Tip day. My Tip for today is........

Move in closer!

When taking pictures think of the story you are trying to tell. Is little Johny sitting on the kitchen table? Did he fall asleep in the corner with the family pet? Whatever your story make sure that's all you are saying by getting in close. This will make for more interesting pictures & allot less clutter. If the clothes on the floor next to him aren't helping say what you want to say, don't show them! Keep it simple and zoom zoom zoom!
